Introduction

Over the years I have been fortunate to receive the following medals and prizes associated with exhibiting.

Stockhomia 2019

My most prized medal is the one from Stockholmia 2019, celebrating 150 years of the Royal Philatelic Society London, for my exhibit on Prisoner of War Correspondence, Japanese occupation of the Far East 1942-45 where the exhibits were judged at International standard, and I received Large Gold with 95 points

Paul Harris Fellow

This was awarded to me by the Rotary Club of Otorohanga for service to Rotary, 17/6/2004

New Zealand Philatelic Federation Award of Honour.

This was awarded to me 20th November 2021 at the annual Te Papa combined meeting of the RPSNZ and the Wellington Philatelic Societies and other Societies.

Tarapex 2008 Exhibition at New Plymouth

This was my first exhibit at a philatelic exhibition. I had collected varieties of New Zealand stamps, and had a large collection of nothing in particular, and this was my solution to that problem.

Royalpex 2021 was meant to happen in 2021, but was deferred to 2022 because of the COVID endemic. The exhibition was a judging-only exhibition, and the public could not come to the exhibition.
